Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This policy explains what personal data the Defense Capability Exchange (the "Exchange") collects and how we use it. The Exchange is run by The Defense Post ("we", "us"), which is responsible for this data.

What we collect

Profiles we created from public sources contain company information taken from the linked source, not personal data about individuals.

How we use it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not share your profile with other members except as a match or an introduction you asked for.

Who processes it for us

Some of these providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, they use safeguards the law recognises, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile while you use the Exchange. If you ask us to delete them, we remove them within 30 days, except billing records, which we keep for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email match@thedefensepost.com. If you are in the UK or the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

The Exchange stores your sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will tell signed-in members by email.
